What is Water Fasting?

Water fasting is where you only drink water but do not consume any food. The duration of the fast varies and different lengths have different side effects.

The most common type of fast is intermittent, where you eat dinner, for example, but then don’t eat again until lunch. This means if you finished dinner at 8pm, and you don’t eat lunch until noon the next day, it was a 16 hour water fast.
